I personally recommend a blend of 5 Drops of Ginger, 5 drops of Clove and 5 drops of Eucalyptus. Combine this blend with 1oz of carrier oil (30ml) such as sweet almond oil, Jojoba oil or even vegetable oil. Have a loved one massage the blend onto the afflicted area and allow the blend to absorb into the skin. If you do this twice daily, once in the morning time and once at night time, within 1 week of continuous use I guarantee the discomfort will be gone!
